BW Monastery offers a lifelong, structured Lamrim curriculum through its ongoing Lamrim Discussion Classes, guiding learners along a clear and progressive path of Buddhist study and practice.
This comprehensive Buddhist curriculum is designed to support systematic learning, reflection, and application, helping students progress steadily on the path toward awakening.
The curriculum is structured around the core textbook, "The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment", also known as Lamrim, which explains how one are led to Buddhahood. The text contains the key points of all of the Buddha’s scriptures and are the pathways forged by the 2 great trailblazers, Nagarjuna and Asanga.
The author, Master Tsong Kha Pa (1357 - 1419) is the founder of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, was a prolific writer and one of Tibet’s greatest philosophers. His works combine a profound meditative spirituality with meticulous reasoning, and altogether they cover the full range of Buddhist thought and practice.
